Julianne has over 25 years of experience in health and healing combining ancient wisdom with modern science. Over a decade of this time has been invested in the study of biopsychosocial therapeutics, with extensive training in yoga as a professional IAYT-Certified Yoga Therapist through the Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies in Kansas City. Julianne has a unique and valuable skills set in understanding and healing myofascial pain, limited range of motion and injury. She returns annually to the Coaching the Body Institute in Evanston, Illinois to study, as pain science and Integrative Pain Care continue to evolve.

​She currently enjoys teaching several weekly therapeutic yoga classes with much of her time and energy dedicated to her private clients. When working with individuals, she offers personalized Yoga Therapy programs rooted in Ayurveda and Yoga philosophy, including therapeutic movement & yoga postures, the Great Yoga Wall, breathwork, meditation, self-inquiry, Thai Yoga concepts, myofascial health, trigger point theory, polyvagal theory, functional anatomy and modern pain science to restore pain-free movement and optimize the health and well-being of body, mind and spirit.

​Yoga & Meditation Teacher & Trainer


​Prema is a yoga and meditation teacher who specializes in buddhist psychology, yoga philosophy and self-awakening methodologies as self-regulating practices to cultivate agency. Prema was born and raised in Costa Rica and lived as a nun at the Sat Yoga Ashram for half a decade. She is a pranassage practitioner
® and a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Prema is passionate about yoga scholarship, comparative religion and providing maps of meaning to adults who are undergoing a transformational process. She provides private guide sessions, pranassage and mindful yoga classes. She offers workshops, retreats and trainings in meditation and self-awakening yoga modalities. Prema is a senior teaching faculty at Nexus Institute, and brings a keen sense of the human development and depth of lived yoga study to both the 200-hour and 300-hour training programs. She has assisted hundreds of Nexus graduates in applying ancient teachings in their contemporary practice and lived experience.

​Desiree draws inspiration from her work with children and local farms to cultivate a yoga practice that is experiential, healthy, and sustainable. With a lightness of heart and foot, Desiree leads an exploration into the “nature” of experience…from establishing roots, to identifying weeds, to realizing growth and beauty blossoming. She invites you to “play” with the FUNdamentals to mindfully build strength and stability. Beginning exactly where you are, we can start this life-long journey, one breath at a time.

Desiree began teaching group fitness classes at the University of Missouri Rec Complex in 2010. She completed her 200-hr Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training at Maya Yoga in Kansas City and traveled to Canada to train with Bernie Clark and receive her Yin Yoga Teaching Certification. Desiree is excited to connect and cultivate a practice to support your wellbeing!

​Amy’s passion for teaching yoga stems from over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor. After earning her degrees in nutrition and kinesiology, she saw the mind body connection and wanted to help others on their journey. She attended her 200 YTT in 2018 and is currently working toward her 500 YTT through My Vinyasa Practice.Amy meets her students where they are in their yoga practice. She guides her students on their journey and encourages them to be responsible for the direction of their journey. Yoga is more than just the asanas, it’s about you, the whole you.

Gigi Kammerer, RYT
​Yoga Teacher & Reiki

Gigi Kammerer’s focus as a yoga teacher is to encourage a practice where all are welcome and all can come together on our mats, each of us on our own journey, in a safe and fun environment. No judgments, no outrageous physical expectations -- only much love and gratitude, peace and appreciation: for ourselves, for each other and for our practice.

Gigi received her 200-RYT credentials in the Spring of 2018 after studying with Om Prana Yoga in Parkville, MO. With a strong foundation in restorative yoga and anatomy; she leads classes centered around proper alignment and intentional sequence and flow. Her classes are for all levels of practitioners. Gigi is also a reiki master, meditation facilitator and certified life coach.

When she’s not teaching, Gigi is enjoying life with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending time with extended family and friends, reading books, being outdoors and listening to (live) music!

Tina’s first experience with yoga was at a local gym. “I had no idea how much I needed yoga until I made yoga a part of my physical fitness journey. Yoga became my peaceful place to connect my body, breath and inner self. I fell in love with yoga.”

Tina received her 200 RYT in 2018 from KC Yoga Kula. Tina holds additional certificates in Yoga for Veterans with PTSD from Veterans Yoga Project, Kids Yoga from Zen Zone Yoga, Yoga Barre from Honor Yoga and Yin Yoga from Lotus Care KC.

Tina’s passion is to help others feel nourished, balanced and abundant through asanas, breath work and meditation.

Erin Harrison, RN, BSN, LMT
Massage Therapist

Erin is a native of Kansas City. She attended Missouri Southern Sate University in Joplin, MO where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2002. in 2008 Erin studied at the Massage Therapy Training Institute for the 600hr Massage Therapy degree. She has studied under various chiropractors and body workers in Central and South America over the last 14 years.

Erin is a wife and mother of four. She has worked in hospitals, clinics, churches, schools, and hospice. She is a Jesus-loving, all people loving, and peace spreading healer. Most recently she has been studying the Emotion Code for incorporating emotional release into her energetic massage practice.

Betheny Clark, LMT, AOS
Massage Therapist

Betheny began her massage therapy career in 2007 after she graduated from Heritage College in Kansas City with her associate degree. From 2007–2011, Betheny worked at Massage Envy and helped the company open three new offices within four years before she became an independent contractor under her business name, Elevated Massage KC.

Over the years, Betheny has provided table and chair massage for various local companies and events, including Seize the Day 5K Run/Walk and Planet Comicon. She’s also earned countless certifications in pre-natal massage, myofascial techniques and Asian reflexology, to name a few.

Betheny is passionate about improving people’s quality of life, oftentimes by helping them reduce or eliminate chronic pain. Neck and shoulder work are her favorite.
