WHAT IS THAI YOGA THERAPY?
Thai Yoga Therapy combines concepts of the ancient healing art of Thai Yoga (Nuat Boran), Yoga Therapy and Trigger Point theory to help reduce, or in many cases, eliminate pain, stiffness & stress, rejuvenating the soft tissues & joints and increasing circulation & hydration allowing the body to do what it does best: Heal! While you are fully clothed and relaxed on the floor the therapist uses a variety of compression techniques, passive stretches, yoga poses, muscle energy techniques, guided breathing, rocking and movement to restore health & well-being to the body and mind. Recommended for chronic & acute pain, soft tissue or athletic injuries, stiff achy joints, fatigue, anxiety, mild to extreme stress relief and so much more! You've never experienced anything like this!
“Studies have shown that over 85% of pain complaints presented at clinics are likely to be caused by myofascial Trigger Points in muscle fibers rather than actual tissue damage. Unfortunately, most medical practitioners and therapists tend to interpret pain as a symptom of an injury, leading to ineffective, side-effect-laden treatment approaches like drugs, steroid injections and surgery, which is needed much less than currently prescribed. The Coaching the Body Approach (CTB) that I use in my Thai Yoga Therapy sessions has a high rate of success with even very serious pain across a wide variety of diagnoses. There are very few people that this work cannot help. It’s truly a GAME-CHANGER!” ~ Julianne Hutchcraft, Certified Yoga Therapist

Chronic Back Pain
I have suffered from acute low back pain for nearly 30 years. I am a very active person and it’s frustrating to think of all that I have missed out on because of it. I have had hundreds of chiropractor and physical therapy appointments, none of which were long term solutions. I was always in pain shortly after each appointment. After another major back spasm that left me incapacitated for 6 weeks, I was open to try something different. Friends of mine had referred me to Julianne, an experienced Thia Yoga therapist. My low back pain was greatly reduced after my first appointment and completely alleviated on the second. Julianne also showed me some very effective stretches and exercises to maintain back health. I have not had a major back spasm since July and my back feels better than ever. Thank you, Julianne! Shoulder Pain
This is the most absolutely best thing ever. Julianne has alleviated so much pain so fast for me that it's miraculous! Thai Yoga Therapy is for everyone and no, you don't have to do yoga, Her work literally unlocks trigger points and opens up muscles and joints. I'm so excited to be swimming again 100% pain-free, I totally recommend her! |
Chronic Sciatica
Thai Yoga Therapy is new to me. It has been a miracleworking therapy for me, and the healing hands and feet of Julianne have brought amazing healing to some very stubborn muscle pain I have experienced. I am so pleased to report that I have not needed pain medicine or icy hot since! I plan to make Thai Yoga Therapy a regular part of my wellness! Thank you, Julianne for your loving hands and hard work on my body! Chronic Low Back Pain
For over 15 years I had chronic low back pain. Physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, regular massage, and pain ointments did nothing to relieve what my doctor vaguely described as “arthritis.” Three years ago, I received a Private Thai Yoga Therapy session from Julianne. In that session, she identified the source of my pain. With her unique skill set, she “touched” the root of my pain and I felt some relief for the first time. It took several sessions, coupled with Julianne’s recommended exercises and stretches, but I now sleep without interruption from low back pain. I highly recommend Julianne for treatment of chronic pain, as well as to keep normal periodic aches at bay. |
